If you choose to write an EE that focuses on a work or works of literature, please take the time to read this guide for the crafting of literary analysis research essays.
Here are the specifics from the IBO. If you are writing a Group One EE, you must familiarize yourself with the guidance set forth in this document. Sound advice: Do exactly what IB asks you to do, and you will have a solid chance to earn an A or a B on the EE.
Also, the provided document provides some excellent examples of suitable research questions for categories 1 and 2. You will not write a category 3 paper, so you don’t have to worry about that information when you peruse the document.
